JUnit-Tests

November 8, 2007

Today I imported some JUnit-Tests, specially created for the project. Thanks to Evan for his work. With this tests I try to assure that the current functionality (Version 1.2) won’t get worse or even lost because of any of my „improvements“.

However Evans tests show also, that there is a lot of more work to do to get the code better. Most of all it seems I have to get more the way to MVC, which should make coding cleaner and testing easier.

Future plans are to release versions 1.3 and 1.4 as planned with some more LaTex-functions and extended GUI using tabs. After that there should (and hopefully will) be a longer phase of code-refactoring for the next big realease 2.0.

Let’s see how far I come 🙂

PS: In case sombody of you is a little bored and wants to read more, thers a page with some stories or novels I wrote. (in german only) so just have a look if you like 🙂 –> http://www.bigbenhaag.de.vu
