BeaGTex and Mac

November 15, 2007

It seems some BeaGTex-News mmade their way to several Mac-forums. In general it is the idea of BeaGTex to be a platformindependent editor, also for Mac. Java is available for many different operating systems, including MacOS. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with MacOS myself and can’t say anything about how far LaTex is spread on these systems. I also cannot test all the functions properly on MacOS. My tests are limited an Linux and Windows at the moment. Of course I would be happy about any help concerning this point. So if any Mac-users want to, just let me know 🙂 After Googleing I realized that there is no great choice of LaTex-Editor for Mac. Maybe BeaGTex can fill this gap? To reach this goal there must be a dramatic growth of functions, but I think BeaGTex is on a good way and has the right concept.

Let’s see how far I come.
